Something more more more different

So 20 years ago, with voluminous help and legwork from Jay Eckardt, I put together my first all-me CD at a cost to me of exactly $26,325.25. Then CRI folded, got swallowed by New World, and today the clearest evidence of those many dollars is a playlist on YouTube. Go figure.

I may have been just nerdy enough at the time to get a t-shirt made of the album's cover.

One down, one to go.

The digital download of the piano concerto CD was available at the usual places on August 9. The physical CD will be available on September 13, and I just got my first of those. Woo hoo!

And a playlist

Kara Huber posted this playlist last May. Enjoy. You can also go to YouTube for the playlist.

BMOP/sound 1048

Correction on that. The piano concerto CD will be BMOP/sound 1048, for reasons unknown. A hazy B&W version of the cover appeared in last night's BMOP program (which was very good). Now I know what a stolen moment actually looks like.

Meanwhile, production expenses for the étude CD have been found, and Hayes is writing the liner notes. Double bar at end of tunnel beginning to be seen.
